HYBRID TRACKING: Industry exclusive “cookie-based” and multi-session “cookie-less” tracking for 100% accuracy

Historically, without the presence of a DirectTrack-generated cookie accessible from a consumer´s browser, DirectTrack-powered affiliate programs experienced the same tracking discrepancies as all other cookie-based tracking platforms in the industry. The goal of our hybrid tracking is to bridge this gap by enabling affiliates and affiliate networks to take credit and get paid for unaccounted leads and sales. Hybrid tracking now makes this possible.

Our new multi-session “cookie-less” tracking functionality gives DirectTrack users the ability to easily associate “unconverted” transactions to consumer clicks that match specific criteria within a given date range. For example, DirectTrack users will be able to match unconverted transactions that occurred within the most recent 90 days that have the same browser type, IP address, user agent and X-Forwarded-For values—to specific clicks, and ultimately to affiliates.

This added tracking insight gives DirectTrack-powered programs the ability to increase tracking and ultimately commission payment accuracy to 100%--thereby adding appeal and incentive for the more savvy affiliates to work with affiliate programs and networks running on DirectTrack.

As the only affiliate tracking solution on the market to offer this degree of accuracy based on a dual “hybrid” tracking methodology, this new functionality also gives DirectTrack users valuable insight into other conversion failure causes, including duplicate leads, unauthorized domains, and inactive campaigns. This information can then be shared with affiliates to help them understand discrepancy issues between various tracking applications.
